Hey everyone!
If you’re new to peptides or just want to make sure you’re doing it right, this guide is suit for you. Reconstituting peptides properly is key to preserving their potency and getting the best results, plus, you definitely don’t want to waste a vial!
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Peptide powder vial
Bacteriostatic water (or sterile water)
Alcohol swabs
Syringe with a fine needle
Step 2: Sanitize Everything
Wipe down the tops of your vials with alcohol swabs to keep things sterile and avoid contamination.
Step 3: Calculate Your Dosage and Volume
Know how much peptide you want per injection, then calculate how much bacteriostatic water you need to add. For example, adding 2ml of water to 5mg peptide means 1ml contains 2.5mg. More detailed info will be dicussed later post.
Step 4: Inject Water into the Peptide Vial
Insert the needle slowly at an angle to avoid frothing. Inject the water gently along the side of the vial to protect the peptide from excessive agitation.
Step 5: Mix Gently
Do NOT shake! Roll the vial gently between your hands until the powder is fully dissolved. Shaking can damage the peptide.
Step 6: Store Properly
Keep the reconstituted peptide in the fridge, typically between 2–8°C. Use within the recommended time frame for best potency.
Bonus Tips:
Always use bacteriostatic water to reduce bacterial growth.
Label your vial with the reconstitution date.
Use clean needles and syringes for every injection.
