So Dr just put me on TRT.
These are my labs after being off for cycle for a year.

He put me on 200mg every 2 weeks and have to get bloods in 6 weeks to see where levels are at.
I don’t se Show I couldn’t recover. It troubles me because I want to have more children. I worried That won’t happen.
Any advice or anyone going through what I am thinking. ??

That's a tough situation. Have you made your concerns known to the doctor that you might want to have more children in the future? With that known, he may want to use clomid or nolvadex to try and stimulate
your own body's production. I'm sure that is very concerning to see little if any recover after a full year of being off cycle. I don't know if there is an easy explanation for that unless more details are known about
your past history. The one piece of advice I can give is if you decide to do the TRT, try and persuade your doctor to give an injection once a week and not every 2 weeks. If he's going to recommend test enanthate or cypionate, 2 weeks is too long to wait between injections. Because of those esters, you'll get high bloods levels for 4-6 days, then it will slowly taper down until you have little left by the time you're due for another injection.

Try to get a referral to an endocrinologist. You'll be better off and they would have done more blood work and tests before putting you on testosterone. It's like your PCP rushed into this. I had start TRT with a PCP and they really don't know what they are doing. Trust me that you will be much better off with an endocrinologist. Even if you have to wait a few months to get an appointment.

Not really. It's not that simple.

Doctors aren't concerned with keeping your levels stable really. The whole point is to replace the testosterone that you no longer make on your own. It's only in the bodybuilding/fitness community that this misunderstanding type of mentality exists.

So I doesn’t matter if the levels spike and lower ?

My insurance is only preventative so I don’t think that covers going to and endocrinologist. For now this doc will have to do.
My history. I have been cycling since I was 23ish off and on and now 34. Been off for over a year now. The prior 4 years I was on consistently, blast cruise.

Those levels I showed you above are the result after a year of being off. Tried couple pct protocols to help but no dice.

I do have hcg lying around. Should I take that at 250iu a week to try and keep the boys going till I can get into an endocrinologist?

If you already tried a few pct cycles and still no recovery, I doubt the hcg will help much. Besides, I think hcg is really best used for keeping the testicles from atrophy while ON cycle. To answer an earlier question, I
really do think it matters keeping blood levels stable to avoid the highs and lows but it was said earlier that most regular doctors probably aren't to concerned with that. If you have access to an endocrinologist, they
would be best.

Doc told me he wants the shot every other week and in 6 weeks, between the 2 shots, so 1 week after my 3rd shot. He wants to see what my lows are.

You might want to try to get a better insurance plan. I know insurance premiums are sky high because of "obamacare", so I understand. If you can afford it though it'd be worth it, because PCP docs barely know what they are doing when it comes to TRT. I know because I dealt with the same thing when first going on TRT. A endocrinologist can help you so much better because they will actually look into things further.

Well right now for me to get on another insurance is not an option. Open enrollment at work has gone and passed. So I got to make do with what I can.

It's ok, just eventually you should. 200mg every 2 weeks is a lot better than nothing.

How are you doing your injections?

Not once every two weeks huh? Levels would be up and down too much right

Every 2-3 weeks is absolutely normal for doctor prescribed TRT. I'm not talking about some anti-aging "doctor" slash drug dealer. Or some online source claiming to be "TRT". Those places are ridiculous. I'm talking about an actual medical doctor or and endocrinologist. Although I think it's better that anyone go to an Endocrinologist, you normally start off with your PCP and they give you a referral to an endo if you so choose. Most docs will also start you off on Androgel. That stuff is extremely expensive though. Without insurance it's over $600. With insurance for me it was $50.

I am with a trt doctor. He has me doing two injections a week. 200mg a week

It’s a clinic in Florida all they do is TRT/HRT

Just like those "Pill mills" or "Pain management centers" before they got busted.
