- Simply go off of the drug for a specified period, 14 days or more. This gives time for the receptors to increase and come back to a normal value.
- Use of additional drugs like Ketotifen. Usage of this drug includes taking 2mg every night before going to sleep for about 7 days to up-regulate the receptors. This allows continuous usage of Salbutamol.
